Pylot’s inaugural exhibition in 2019 set the foundation for our mission to produce unanticipated, multidisciplinary experiences. As co-curator, I brought together 20 early-career artists working across painting, sculpture, photography, video, digital installation, and performance.
Over four months, I led the full production process alongside my co-founder, organizing an open call, selecting artists, shaping the curatorial framework, and managing budgeting, marketing, and gallery coordination.
Designed as an immersive environment, the exhibition evolved over two days from a traditional gallery into a live performance space featuring opera and dance, offering audiences a multidimensional encounter with the work. This project established the collaborative, experimental, and community-driven approach that continues to define Pylot’s programming.
